Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce myself.

My name is Becca, the baker behind Butterbean. I'm a mom of two sweet little taste testers, and started out by trying new recipes during nap time.

The name Butterbean is a nod to my daughter (her nickname is Butterbean), but is also a nod to all of the women in our family. Whether they bake or buy (hey there's room for all of us), share recipes, answer my questions over the phone, give me the tips and tricks, eat my desserts at a gathering; I hope that this little baking adventure does them proud. Butterbean is inspired by all of those family treats that become traditions; become moments.

And to my two little Butterbeans, who not so patiently wait by the oven: may the smell of fresh baked goodies always remind you of the comforts of home.
